Your Sales Letter Headline is Everything

Writing winning headlines is an important factor for creating your sales letters. To have a copywriter do it for you is expensive, so why not do it yourself? If you spend time doing a few of the basics you can write that ‘killer’ sales letter.

We all know, even from our own experience, that something that grabs our attention, ignites our curiosity. It doesn’t matter what sort of marketing you are into, the headline of your advertised article has to get the attention of your reader.

The headline is what will make you a successful marketer, because ultimately you want the customer to read what it is you are offering them. Naturally not everyone will respond to your headline in the same way. This is because you cannot know where that person’s head is at, at that precise point in time. For example, you may be advertising a fitness program and send out a headline reading,’How to get fit and stay healthy!’to a person who just won a bodybuilding competition.

You have to catch the attention of who you are targeting. Make it sound as though it was written just for them. Have you ever read an ad and felt as though it was written just for you? When a headline hits a nerve or catches your attention, you keep reading.

Your headline is everything. Don’t ever think you are spending too much time coming up with a headline.

I remember reading that you should spend as much time creating your headline as in completing the body of the letter. You may have the best product, the best sales letter and the best price, but if your prospects don’t read, you don’t have a sale.
So spend more time writing that ‘killer’ headline than the letter itself. It’s that important!

If your sales letters aren’t performing at present, rewrite the headline and track the results before you change the letter content. You may be nicely surprised!

Internet Marketing - The Only Limit Is Your Imagination.

Internet marketing is a business, and can be an excellent way of generating income. Many people start in affiliate marketing, but do not persevere. They become disillusioned and disheartened, especially when anticipated returns are not forthcoming. Internet marketing is only limited by your imagination. The opportunities for making money online are endless.

I have strong feelings about what I believe to be the causes of this set of circumstances. For me it comes down to confusion and misunderstanding, but especially confusion. When someone starts in this line of business they are waylaid by an avalanche of information and ‘opportunities.’

The massive nature of the internet with all its contacts and information are what make it so productive to the experienced marketer. However these same factors actually work against the novice. Every time a ‘newbie’ seeks a piece of the jigsaw puzzle, dozens of different answers in the form of ‘opportunities’ are thrust in front of them. Each one or at least many of them appear to be a new answer. In fact to the novice most become another problem seeking yet another set of answers.

They then find they are looking for something or someone to refocus their dilemma into a controllable situation. This often sets the roller coaster into action again, because that ‘person’ also has ideas of their own, and that’s to show you more ‘good stuff!’

The fact is if they could channel their enthusiasm and their drive for success into one or two areas in the beginning, instead of jumping from one good idea to the other, they would be much better off. Their internet marketing venture would start to pay off.

The benefits of replication and multiple income streams will happen easily and automatically when based on a good simple foundation. In the beginning especially, it is far more productive and financially rewarding to do one or two things properly, than dozens poorly.

Once you have an understanding of the whole internet marketing, affiliate marketing process, for example: seo, traffic, opt-in lists, sales letters, autoresponders, keywords, viral marketing, backend sales, etc. then it is easier to have not one or two ‘businesses’ but 10, 20 or more! The only limit is your imagination.

Perhaps the most important thing is to stay focused, so that you can tap into the ‘Market’ where you have access to billions of customers worldwide. Internet marketing has already made a lot of people extremely wealthy. The only limit is your imagination.
