The average person, upon sending an email, would naturally expect some kind of response to his message. If no such reply arrives, he will start to wonder whether the recipient has read the email or not, or if he had actually received the message in the first place. As a business owner, you are likely to receive countless emails from potential customers or sponsors, and you will not always be able to reply in a timely manner. For these instances, you can use an autoresponder just to assure the email sender that their message has been received and that someone will get back t them soon.

Autoresponders can be very useful in maintaining good working relationships with your clients. By sending out these smartly composed messages, you can assure your customers that their concern has been received and is currently being processed.

However, autoresponders are not merely used for acknowledging the receipt of client emails. They can be essential in providing tech support and customer care as well. The more advanced autoresponder systems will be able to receive and process input from the customers, and provide the corresponding response. For instance, if your client has problems downloading an information product that he has purchased from you, you can use your autoresponder to give him explicit instructions on how to perform the download. This will save you a lot of time, while the customer’s needs are satisfied as well.

With a good autoresponder system, you will no longer have to reply to dozens of emails a day, most of which deal with the same topics. Your customers will also not have to wait for days before receiving an answer to their inquiries. In setting up your autoresponder, you can program in as many possible questions and replies as you want. In case you forget a few topics, you can easily add more as your business grows.

Autoresponders can be used to reply to both emails and online forms. If you have a tech support page to your website, where customers can find concise answers to frequently asked questions, you can add an online form here where clients can type in questions not addressed on your site. If you don’t have a ready pre-programmed reply to a certain question, the autoresponder should reply by saying that you have received their inquiry and someone will contact them shortly about their concern.

In any case, it is essential to have a good autoresponder system, especially if you expect your business to grow considerably in the next few years or so.

Building Your Own Mailing List

Building A Mailing List of Your Own…The Money Is In The List!

Mailing ListWe all know we need a mailing list. The basic way to build a mailing list is by capturing name and email address information for everyone who buys or shows an interest in your product or service.

An email list that you collect yourself is priceless. This can be accomplished by using an optin form on your site. Using an autoresponder service like AWeber makes for very easy mailings to your targeted lists.

A service such as AWeber collects the email addresses that are gathered with the form. Thus, your email list is collected. This might take some time so there are methods to use until you get your own email list built.

One way to build a mailing list is to do ad swaps with other list owners. The way this works is, you (as company A) have an email list that you send newsletters to and another list owner (company B) has a list they send newsletters to. Company A and Company B place ads on one another’s mailing lists. Each of you is promoting the other’s list.

You can rent or buy targeted email lists. The list you develop using your own customers’ names is called your “house list.” Of course, when you’re first starting out, your house list is likely to be almost non-existent. To augment it, one way is to rent or buy a mailing list.

There are two ways to buy or rent a mailing list—approaching the company you want to rent from directly or using a list broker. Any company that emails information to its customers usually has a list manager, who handles inquiries and orders for the mailing list.

Another way to build an email list is to list your newsletter in all of the ezine directories.

There are a couple of list services such as ‘Triple Your List’, ‘List Bandit and ‘Your Lucky List’.

These are excellent ways of starting your own list. Remember to use lists like this for building your own list. Don’t just send emails promoting products as as affiliate. This is short term income, and again ‘The Money Is In The List.’

For every name in your list you can estimate approximately a dollar per month income. For example 5000 Subscribers = $5000 Dollars. Building your own mailing list is building residual income. It is far easier selling to people who know and trust you, than promoting yourself and products to new people every day.

Build trust and your list will grow beyond your wildest dreams.

The best way to use services like these are to send emails that require the opting in for a free giveaway or service. As I said you are building your own mailing list, and not just promoting someone else’s affiliate product.

Blast For Traffic‘ is another way of sending millions of emails, but understand that many people do not necessarily read the emails they receive. You will have some success of course and for such a cheap, one time fee, it is worth the effort.

Anyway what would this article be from an Affiliate Marketer’s website, if I didn’t promote the autoresponder I use and recommend, AWeber, of course!

Plus don’t forget to put your name and email in my little AWeber form, to receive nothing but the best strategies and tips to help you succeed online!
